Our last meeting until Fall. Plan to be
there for a fun evening and GOOD FOOD.

Our thanks to
Lion Bill LEE for arranging a fine banquet at the
Waterville Elks for Spouse's Night, Installation of Officers and
Installation of new members.
One major ERROR was made. New Lion
Karleen Proctor was sponsored by Lion Maurice Scribner,
Jr. Somehow Lion Jane Stinson was announced as her sponsor.
Lion Bud brought her in after she donated a power wheel
chair to our club for us to loan to anyone who needs it. It is stored at
Bud's and is now available.
Lion Bill Miller, sponsored by
Lion Phil Libby was also inducted.
Our newest King Lion, Jane Bolduc,
was duly installed by Immediate Past District Governor Paula Beach, as
were all of our new officers. Outgoing King Lion
Steve Wright listed many events happening during his
year and thanked all for everything they had done to make the year so
successful.
The "CIRCUS"
IS COMING !!!
Tuesday, July 8 in CLINTON
WALKER BROS. CIRCUS is
again coming to Clinton, sponsored by the Clinton Lions Club on Tuesday,
July 8. This can be a real money maker for us IF WE GET OUT
AND SELL SOME TICKETS BEFORE HAND. Lion Jay Galusha
will have the tickets soon (hopefully by the 16th) Any tickets we sell
ahead of time we get 30% as profit. Any tickets sold on the day at the
circus we get 10% - Think about it . . . 30% is way better
than 10%. There will be coupons for Kids in Free
with a paid adult.
PLEASE GET BEHIND THIS and make it successful .. for
us and for the Circus. This is one of the only tent circus's
left in the country. It's always been a good show for the whole
family. Plan to attend.
