Wednesday, February 24, 2010  6:30 p.m.

Methodist Fellowship Hall

At our last meeting we heard from Pam Higby and her family about girl scouting in this area.  They were very upbeat and informative about Girl Scouting and their programs. Thank you Pam and family.

The next meeting is Father/daughter, son night.  Please call Pete (313-99370) or Sec. Coleen (426-8000) if you are planning on bringing more than one extra child with you. We want to make sure the Fireside Chapter #103 Order of the Eastern Star prepare enough food to feed everyone . By the way,  supper being provided  by the Eastern Star, is going to be spaghetti, w/ meat balls, garlic bread and make your own ice cream sundae for desert.

At our meeting Wednesday we are having Robert Beausoleil, Kennebec County Emergency Management Director, with a special presentation about what needs to be done to prepare if a fire or some other type of emergency should hit your house. I’m being told that this presentation will be done in a comic way that will being entertaining for you and for the younger generation. Remember childrens tickets are $3.50 and adults $7.00. The Chairmen for this presentation are Peter and Alice Stinson.

Ticket sales persons for this meeting are Dick Beale and Rod Swett .

Ticket sales persons for the March 10th  meeting will be Jay Galusha and Terry Yarmoluk. Program responsibly is Belinda Stoughton.

Don’t forget the Long Range Planning Meetings are being held the first Wednesdays of each month and the Fair planning meetings are held the third Wednesdays of each month. Both of these chairmen need you to attend these meeting and provide your input. These plans are for your Lions Club and your Fair. You need to help in their direction and planning

If your assignment is to provide entertainment/speaker for a meeting, be sure and let either King Lion Phil and  me know so we can provide that information to all the club members, thanks.
